Care
Vegetable tanned leather shoes should be left untreated. Leather will develop a patina and age beautifully over time. Clean with a horsehair brush or soft rag. If desired, use a natural oil based treatment or conditioner.
Vegetable Suede and lighter leather can be protected with natural protectant or waterproofing agent. Soft wire brush and eraser recommended for light stains and revitalizing suede. Only use suede cleaner for heavy stains.
Goodyear construction ensures all FEIT shoes can be resoled.

Leather Aging & Patina
All leathers are sourced from italian tanneries and most are vegetable dyed. Vegetable tanned leather is tanned using tannins and other ingredients found in vegetable matter such as tree bark, wood, leaves, fruit and roots.
The leather breathes as in nature. It is non irritant, soft to touch, ages richly over time and biodegrades. We recommend the shoes be worn barefoot. The leather will remain neutral during hot and cold days. It will never smell.
Leather will develop a patina over time.

Footbed Enhancement
Feit shoes come with a separate cork and buffalo leather insole to ensure complete comfort and assist with in between sizes. The natural cork should be fitted underneath the buffalo leather insole if the shoe fits a little large
